What is Botox?

Botox is an FDA approved product, comprised of the bacteria that causes Botulism. When Botox is injected directly into the target muscle, it causes weakness or paralysis, temporarily blocking the nerve activity of that muscle, creating a smooth and youthful appearance.

How long does an appointment for Botox take?

The exact time depends on the area being treated, but generally a treatment for Botox injections takes half an hour or less to complete.

Do Botox/Filler injections hurt?

Botox/Fillers are not considered a painful treatment. A slight pinching sensation with pressure may be felt when being injected with fillers. A topical numbing agent can be applied prior to injections, to ease any discomfort; However, most find Botox injections extremely tolerable without any numbing agents.

How long does Botox take to work?

You may see some results a few days after Botox injections; However, full results are typically seen 10-14 days after treatment.

How long does Botox and Dysport last?

Results from Botox injections may last between 3-4 months; However, individual results may vary.
